Maintenance - Software update 7.17.10.2

New feature:

  • Records can be viewed via Kanban and Calendar views in addition to list views.
  • User can select the landing page after login to Vtiger via User preferences page.

Enhancements:

  1. Webhooks can now send data in JSONArray format (useful to push data to applications such as Microsoft PowerBI).
  2. By default, Assigned to field of the record created via Create Record action of workflow is set to same owner as the record initiating the workflow.
  3. Option to select Case status when you create an ad-hoc case via “Add case and send email” action.
  4. Created time and Modified time values are added to document lookup list view of Google Drive files.

Usability:

  • Shared calendars are not loaded by default to reduce the clutter on Shared calendar view. Clicking on All added calendar option loads all the shared calendars.

Service Impact : None. Service will be available during this update, without any disruption.

Login Issue

Issue:A couple of our login jobs failed at one of our nodes in Singapore region between 08 October 2017 19:30 UTC and 09 October 2017 01:00 UTC.

Cause: This issue happened almost immediately after performing complete CRM backups that resulted in failed disk controller.

Resolution: Our operations team has resolved the issue and confirmed that login is working again as expected. You can reach out to our Support team at support@vtiger.com if you have any additional questions.Thank you for your patience.

Maintenance - Software update 7.17.10.1, scheduled 2 weeks ago

New feature:

  • Introducing a new tab called Usage details in the Settings to view storage, emails, webhooks, and web services usages along with their maximum limit.

Enhancements:

  1. Business hours can now be configured to include breaks in working hours.
  2. Approvals enhancements
    1. Record pending for approval is auto-approved when entry criteria are met, but none of the rules match. Same applies when an approver is same as record submitter.
    2. Approvers can respond to the record waiting for approval from their email inboxes and Vtiger 360 mobile.
  3. Comments are available for Task records in list view and detail view.
  4. Print templates enhancements
    1. Options to delete “default templates” and also deactivate existing print templates.
    2. Print templates of the inventory modules display the tax amounts along with the percentage.
  5. In Module manager, you can now move the custom modules from one app category to another.
  6. ‘Assigned to’ field selection displays deleted and suspended users in a separate section.
