Maintenance - Software update 7.18.8.1

Features:

  1. Vtiger Inventory add-on - The add-on enables companies to automate their order processing and purchasing process. It increases productivity with automated stock adjustment when an order is received or delivered.

Updates:

  1. You can now create and view tags from the Tags widget in the Summary view.
  2. Admin or instance account owner can access Group mailbox settings even if he/she is not a member of the group.
  3. You can now view the discount value of a Line item in Preview mode.
  4. Approval record actions from related approval records are hidden if the parent record is deleted.
  5. Sum of all the Individual tax values is now included in the Print templates.
  6. All the comments in Project and Project tasks are now marked as internal by default.
  7. In Web services:
    • a. Created time has been changed to read and write field.
    • b. You can change the selling price of the product from Pricebook.

Enhancements:

  1. Enhancement to the Privacy Guard Add-on
    • a. You can now enable the checkbox in the Email Settings page to send a double opt-in confirmation request on webform submission.
    • b. When a customer unsubscribes, no further confirmation email is sent and the action is recorded in the CRM.
  2. You can now schedule a time to send out an email.
  3. In order to maintain the uniqueness of the primary email address, two employees are not allowed to have a same primary email address.
  4. By default, now the email interactions in Inbox is collapsed.
  5. Replies by users on Cases and Internal tickets are bcc'd to the email addresses specified in the Email Settings.
  6. A user will see the item name as "Restricted" if product/service is restricted for him/her.
  7. You will be redirected to Xero if you click on the Xero Invoice No of an Invoice.
  8. If any record fails during importing users, you can now view the failure reason to take the next steps.

Usability:

  1. Any upcoming events marked as held will update the start time with the current time.
  2. Charts widget in Dashboard and Reports will pick the colors assigned to the respective picklist values.
  3. On exceeding the character limit in a text field, a warning message pops up to indicate that the text will be truncated.
  4. Answer field in FAQ module is enhanced to an RTE field to improve readability.
  5. You can now choose to place your email signature at the end of the current email or at the bottom of the thread.
