Vtiger Server Maintenance - Subset of US-East region

Update - We have completed the maintenance process successfully, we appreciate your patience. If you have any issues, please report to [email protected]

On December 18th 2016 at 06:00 AM GMT, we will be upgrading the infrastructure to improve CRM performance. We anticipate this planned maintenance will take between 2 and 3 hours to perform.

This upgrade will enhance the performance and capacity of the servers. During this maintenance window, Vtiger CRM service will not be accessible and all background operations scheduled during this time frame will be paused. All operations related to the service will resume immediately after the maintenance window ends.

This upgrade is only meant for one of the subset of US-East region servers.

Maintenance - Software update 7.16.12

This update has many issue fixes.

Key feature:

Vtiger Messenger for Internal Collaboration

  • Chat with your employees within CRM
  • Public/Private/Group chat with one or more employees in your Organization
  • User can set the Chat status to Busy/Available

Key areas:

Sales Insights Enhancement

  • Role selected in Filter by Group/Roles drop down, shows all data reporting to this Role.
  • Sales stage last modified date is available as a date filter to view sales insights reports.

Inbox

  • Based on the last view, user is redirected to either Email view or Conversation view in related Emails of a record.
  • Any My Mailbox can be permanently deleted if there are no conversations linked to other mailboxes or entity modules. Duplicate mailboxes with the same name is not allowed.
  • Private emails in Conversation views of related Emails will follow Role-Based hierarchy and Sharing Rules.
  • Option to assign emails to a owner is available as a mass action in shared mailboxes.

Settings

  • Admin can enable/disable Print access from Profiles for specific modules.

Reports

  • Appointment confirmation Email sent to the meeting organizer is set to user’s preferred date time format defined in user preferences.
  • Export Chart Reports now shows percentage values on the exported chart image.
  • Chart report has an option to group by Created time (Day).

Record actions

  • Option to generate Subscription from Quotes and Sales order detail view actions.
  • Option to add or select related record (eg, Organization, Contacts) from Documents related tab.
  • Condition on image field (eg, Contact image, Leads image) available from List, Report and Workflow conditions.

Mailchimp with Vtiger extension

  • Extension upgraded to support 3.0 version of Mailchimp API.

Case Resolution survey

  • Allows you to capture customers’ feedback for any rating (Unsatisfied, Neutral, Satisfied).

Zapier Sync

  • Through Zapier sync you can assign records to users and groups.

Service Impact : None. Service will be available during this update, without any disruption.

Resolved : This issue was resolved and mail service is operational

Identified : This issue was identified and our Engineering and Operations Team is working on the resolution. New mails are routed through backup mail service.

Login issue in one of US server

Resolved - Issue has been resolved and now the login's are working normally.

Identified - Upon investigation, It was determined that it's due to Disk I/O error After addressing the DISK errors. the team began the process of bringing all impacted instances back online.
