Email Deliverability - Maintenance

Maintenance Completed

The service maintenance is completed Email campaign service is accessible now. Thanks for your patience and cooperation.

With this upgrade, we enhanced capabilities on Email campaign by improving the email delivery times, robust bounce tracking and added support for more authentication mechanisms. These features will help you in better and faster engagement with your clients.

Update

We will be deploying a major update to the infrastructure that handles email campaigns sent from Vtiger CRM. This update aims to drastically improve the sending speed and delivery awareness of email campaigns and auto-responders sent from Vtiger. While we expect the impact of this update to be minimal, during the maintenance window (05:30 AM UTC to 11:30 AM UTC) you may be temporarily unable to send email campaigns from Vtiger.

Changes required from CRM users

Update the SPF record of your domain to

v=spf1 include:ca.vtiger.email include:vtigermails.com include:mail.od1.vtiger.com ~all

Add a sender ID record of your domain to

v=spf2.0/pra include:ca.vtiger.email include:vtigermails.com ~all

Key areas

  • Viewer Stats on Documents - Documents module is enhanced to include document sharing and tracking to let sales, support, and marketing use documents more effectively
  • Users list as a custom field - It is easy to add a field listing the users of a CRM. For example, you can assign a Project to a Project Manager, a Site Engineer and a Technical engineer
  • AND and OR operators in IF expression of workflows - You can now configure more advanced workflows.
  • User status
    • A user status indicator is shown on the User icon on top-right corner.
    • User can change his/her status from Online to either Busy or Offline by clicking on the User icon. The status of the user is shown on Messenger.

Usability Enhancements

  • New look for What’s New feature updates pop up.
  • Search for a menu item easily using the Search block in Settings Page.
  • Description field with any rich text or image is converted to plain text while displayed in Reports

    Impact: None, Service will be available during this update, without any disruption.
