Vtiger CRM - Login Issue

Resolved:

We have resolved the incident. Vtiger Login is functioning normally.

Investigating:

We are currently having an issue with the Vtiger CRM login from 04:40 GMT , 15/07/2017.

We have notified our cloud service provider about this incident, and we are looking into the cause. Further announcement will be made soon.

Maintenance - Software update 7.17.7.1

Key enhancements:

  1. Document sharing and tracking is enhanced to support:
    • Sharing of Quotes, Invoices & other records with PDF templates.
    • Automation of document sharing via workflows.
    • Uploading and Inserting as link in one action.
    • Inserting document link when replying to email.
  2. Folders view for Document module is added as a separate view with support up to 3 levels of folders.
  3. Get a bird's eye view of deals expected to close, Invoices & Quotes and Project tasks using Calendar month view.
  4. New Grid field type is available in all modules for tabular data entry.
  5. Esign Documents
    • View sent E-sign documents in related Esign documents tab of a record.
    • Update status of related record like Quote or Invoice via workflows when an E-sign document is signed.
  6. Customer Self-service Portal.
    • Enable custom modules for access.
    • Portuguese language is now supported.
  7. Option to Export Active Users into CSV file from Vtiger.
  8. Search criteria in Related lists is preserved for the User session.
  9. Filter the list based on records assigned to Vtiger Group Users.
  10. Record IVR messages in any of the supported languages in Plivo and Twilio integrations.
  11. Include “Total excluding Item Discounts” merge tag in Print Templates to view Invoice/Quotes/SO/PO total amount excluding discounts.
  12. Automatically assign Contacts record to your users via Round-Robin Assignment Rule.
  13. “Add Case and Send Email” button in related Cases tab of any record.

Usability:

High level summary of usability enhancements.

  1. Module Layouts and Fields display in settings optimized.
  2. Project metrics widget is shown only for Projects with billable tasks and Invoiced hours.
  3. Option to mark reply to comment as internal in Notification center.
  4. Add CSS file in Customer portal to enhance your Customer Self-service Portal page.
  5. Zoom in or Zoom out option on image preview available.
  6. List of Meet me Appointment pages filtered based on user sending the link.
  7. Restore mistakenly deleted emails from Trash by clicking on UNDO option.

Service Impact : None. Service will be available during this update, without any disruption.

Disk Failure - Europe Global Search

Resolved :

The datafiles necessary to allow the resumption of the search service have been recovered from the failed disk. This issue has been resolved. If you continue to experience any issues, please open a ticket with our Support team [email protected]

Monitoring :

The data disk on our search node failed to mount following the recent scheduled maintenance. We have reported the problem to our service provider. It may take some time for this service to resume operation.

Identified :

we're working on an error associated with failed disk drives in one of our Global Search nodes in Europe region. We will let you know once the issue is resolved. sorry for the inconvenience
