Urgent - Hotfix

This update delivers critical Invoice fixes to the product.

Impact: We had to do an unscheduled maintenance update to fix an issue. This update had to be done to fix an issue related to an extra decimal appearing in Invoice for customers having a specific configuration. The update started at 16:30 GMT and was completed by 20:30 GMT . During this time frame the service might be intermittently unavailable for 10 to 15 mins due to resources being diverted to the update process..

Users will see limitation when sending email, creating reports, adding picklist values.

Resolved - Our Engineering team has resolved the issue. Updating standard edition limits were overwritten in 7.18.1.2 maintenance release. Customers using sales, sales free and legacy edition (exclusive) edition faced this issue. We have added extra monitoring checks to avoid this in future.

Maintenance - Software update 7.18.1.2

New Features:

  1. Single Sign-on with SAML on Vtiger.
  2. Single Sign-on helps users to login once and access all the services. The administrator can control the services the users can access to improve security and safety. Vtiger now provides single sign-on with any SAML based Identity Provider along with Google.

  3. Integrate Vtiger with Knowlarity.
  4. Capture leads directly from a phone call, direct incoming calls to agents, track outbound calls and record conversations to refine the sales pitch.(Stay tuned for the detailed article and video.)

Enhancements:

  1. Incoming call pop-up Facelift - New look to incoming call pop-up which helps you search the contact or link Opportunity/Case easily.
  2. Picklist Value Enhancements:
    1. Picklist values adhere to the order same as their arrangement in the Settings.
    2. Option to sort the picklist values based on the alphabetical order.
  3. Comments report exported as an Excel file does not contain emoticons data.
  4. On trigger, the Schedule Workflow doesn’t update the “Last modified by” and “Last modified time” fields if there is no action held.
  5. Sync Products and Services separately from Quickbooks to Vtiger.
  6. Restrict user from sending records for signing using Profile Settings.

Usability:

  1. New Email Campaign metrics widget is introduced to show available credits, chosen plan, subscription status and renewal date.
  2. Screen resolution lesser than 1152x864 collapses header buttons such as Add record, Customize, etc. into one button called Actions.
  3. Use Tab key to switch the buttons and identify the active buttons with highlighted borders.
  4. Add Widget drop-down in the Dashboard lists the widgets in a column to improve readability.

Service Impact : None. Service will be available during this update, without any disruption.
